When used in conjunction with the CEA TV antenna selector program at www.AntennaWeb.org, these color codes can help both consumers and professional installers select appropriate outdoor TV antennas for their particular reception environments.
This standard applies only to devices that can be connected to a transmission line for purposes of converting an electromagnetic wave propagating in free space to a radiofrequency (RF) voltage.
