Scope: The method provides a laboratory procedure todetermine the time required for the fixation of reactiveinorganic waterborne preservatives at given temperature(s).The method is primarily intended for preservatives that donot require drying as part of the fixation process. If drying isinvolved in the fixation process, additional trials may benecessary to determine the effect of drying rate on fixation.This test method is intended to be a screening test.
