This Technical Requirements document provides maximum dc steady-state voltage, current, and power limits to be observed when powering transport systems over conventional network telecommunications twisted-pair conductors. The technical requirements contained herein are based on industry-recognized safety standards, address both the network and customer premises environments, and are independent of the transport system technology employed.
